Currently the nrpe check /etc/nagios/
It would be great if an operator had the option of shutting down an OSD (e.g. for hardware maintenance) without having to ack the alert. as acking the alert quells alerts for all OSDs on the machine, not only one OSD
I'd suggest to e.g. filter the list of checked OSDs to look only at those that are actually enabled. For hardware maint. an OSD service could then just be disabled.
