App hangs up when sync to U1 is set

Bug Description
If I use the app without syncing it seems to be no problem. I created notes. But when I set the U1 syncing (I am redirected to the browser, I can put my credentials there) the app hangs up after a few seconds of been launched.
I think it's during the validation. I tested it with and without Wifi (my 2G/3G plan has no data) and it's the same.
If in these seconds it is up I go to settings and set no sync, the app go back to work ok.
I have a Xperia X10 mini pro.
What other info I can send to help to solve this issue?

I believe the app crashes when we fail to fetch notes. If your connection is working fine, then my guess would be that you don't have a mobile subscription with Ubuntu One. Unfortunately, to be able to sync to the U1 notes with OAuth this is required (and I believe it costs $3.99/mo). Without this, the sync will fail.
I will be adding an alert when fetching notes fails, letting you know if it is because you don't have the subscription or because of a network issue.
