I'm sorry to say that unless you provide a more detailed log or trace, I'm not going to investigate and fix this bug because I'm putting all my time and energy into the development of 0.7 version.

If version 0.7 is going to fix this, then I guess it's not going to be such
a big deal.
But it IS a real problem, as shown here
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=938338 (it originally refers to
another problem in an earlier version, but it's this problem in the posts
since June).
But regardless, there's just no other way that I can see to dig into it and
find what's up with it. I can tell you, for instance, that switching to
storing the password in plaintext seems to solve the issue (but that's a
less than ideal workaround). If you could guide me as to what I could do to
to get you the info you need, that'd be great.

cGmail also forgets my accounts after I reboot. I suspect it has something to do with the Gnome keyring. I have just changed my preferences to "Use a plain file", so I'll let you know if that fixes it.

Indeed, choosing "plain file" seems to have fixed it.

I also have this problem, what logs and traces do you need? I use this notifier because it uses keyring and not plain text password. Btw. plain text password fix does not work with me, it is still forgetting the account info.

The same for me. After reboot account list is empty no mather where the passwords are stored.

I also had the same issue when gpg was used and it didn't work when I switched to plain text either until I deleted the .config/cgmail/accounts.ini file (which was still being setup as if it was using gpg - ie no uid/passwords).
