cgmail doesn't check my SSL email account

I've a problem with my email account to check the mail by cgmail.
Here is the log starting the program from xterm (on several pc is the same):

nick@pc ~ $ cgmail
checking pop3 account <email address hidden> ...
trying to connect to pop3 server pop.XXX.XXX.fr on port 995...
...ok
authenticating user nick
No handlers could be found for logger "dbus.proxies"

And then an error popup is showed:

"POP3 errore di autorizzazione
Nome utente o password non validi per l'account <email address hidden>"

The versions I used are 3.x and several developer revision (the last one today!)

Moreover, I tryed with other mail checker (such as the ones integrated in XFCE4.4) and everything is working fine.
