Newton Telemetry Installation - Event dispatcher misleading

This doc is inaccurate in this way:

It suggests to set event_dispatchers to "gnocchi", however, Gnocchi is not handling the event storage, so I guess it should be either:

a) be set to 'none' and '--skip-event-database' as well during the ceilometer-upgrade.
b) be set to 'database' or 'panko' or whatever backend is being used for events.

As it is today, the installation fails at the 'ceilometer-upgrade' stage because it tries to find a connection to the event backend.

well, gnocchi does leverage events but not in the same context as panko.

i'm closing this. i have no idea where it says panko in newton install docs. if we're talking about the developer docs, i've removed it completely because it was redundant.
