Bug Description
cat `which catfish`
#!/usr/bin/env bash
python3 /usr/share/
This might be a problem when users use their self-compiled python. I use pyenv to manage difference pythons Catfish can't start with my python3.

You're right here. The best thing in this case (hopefully to make it for 1.3.1) is replace the shell script launcher with an actual python script in bin. Will work to get this into the next release.
