Drag and drop would be very useful for placing launchers on the desktop or on the panel/dock.

Moreover, the current behavior (running the app without any visible notice of error, "dragging is not supported" message) is rendered more problematic by this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cardapio/+bug/811655 which will make regular users try to drag the icon 12 times, and have 12 instances of the app launched.

Thanks

I can't reproduce this bug. Specifically:

1) Open Cardapio.
ok

2) Press down an item and try to hold or drag it.
ok

3) The main menu disspaears and the application clicked runs, without releasing the mouse button, so it can't be dragged and dropped.
This is not what happens for me. In my case, the menu stays open and the item is dragged as expected.

Can you tell me what version of Cardapio you are running?

Hello, i'm using Cardapio 0.9.187-ubuntu1-lucid1 from the PPA.
I can reproduce 3) from the AWN applet , the gnome-panel applet, and also by running 'cardapio show'.
No particular errors on the terminal.
