Bug Description

the docky helper doesn't show up, after installing Cardapio and cardapio-docky.
My main reason for using cardapio a.t.m. is because i want to replace gnome-panel.
So far i have been using docky, but cardapio doesn't show up, and the gconf key workaround from http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/06/use-cardapio-menu-applet-on-docky-tip/ doesn't even allow the entry of non-numeric values, which makes it impossible to apply.

i can't use docky, gnome-panel AND wingpanel all at the same time.

please fix this, so cardapio can become more widespread through the thousands of docky users!

Can you check if this is the same as bug 702829 ? It sounds suspiciously similar. I plan on working on that bug later tonight.

If your bug is different from that one, then I need a step-by-step description of what you are experiencing, starting from the very beginning. Here is what I assume your step-by-step description would look like:

1) Run
$ sudo apt-get install cardapio cardapio-docky
2) Restart Docky
3) Open Docky preferences and activate the Cardapio helper
4) Click on the anchor button
Result: Nothing happens. No window appears anywhere on the screen as a result of step 4.

Is this correct? Is this what you are experiencing? If not please post a step-by-step description of your own below.
