Bug Description

Im on a dual monitor set up. The screen where docky is less high as the other screen meening that the virtual screen is larger. This results in a strip of 'empty' space under the monitor where docky is, and so under docky. Invoking the menu places the menu at the spot that would normally be correct but becouse of the 'empty' space is too low.

I added a screenshot that explains things a bit better.

Interesting... I'll have to think about what could be happening.

Pawel: if you're reading this, do you have any idea what's going on?
[ I do realize I tweaked your window placement code, but you still are our best Docky guy :) ]

I don't know what's going on. ;)

The only thing that comes to my mind - there was a change in Docky's trunk a few revisions ago: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~docky-core/docky/trunk/revision/1702. This seems to have something in common with the problem but may also be completely unrelated.

Actually that is my patch ;). It doesn't modify the placement but rather the 'hotarea' of docky so it should be unrelated.

Is this still happening? There were so many changes in that code, that I'm not even sure anymore.

The current issue with Docky seems to be bug 702829...
