As a data point, these sites work fine on Firefox in a Puritine style chroot on Xenial Unity8 on a desktop.

So it's either an arm issue, Vivid issue, or something special about the device itself such as permissions, etc. Will continue to investigate....

After some more digging, I have discovered that WebRTC is disabled by default in armhf builds of Firefox. I was able to enable it via installing the WebRTC Control add-on in Firefox.

After enabling it, the complaint of the unsupported web browser goes away, but the camera and microphone do not work. I suspect that may have to do with device mappings inside the container.

Going to mark this Won't Fix as there are a few issues out of our control, first being that arm versions of Firefox have WebRTC disabled by default.
