Stepts to reproduce:
1. Installed the purtine click build 0.5
2. Connected to BT mouse and keyboard
3. Launch XChat-GNOME app
4. Give a valid nick/real name, then tap 'OK'
Actual results:
Always complain that no nickname given, if manually select server 'FreeNode' and give a nickname/realname, it will connect to server and join channel '#ubuntu' successfully
