Bug Description
Conversation with Ricardo:
<jfunk> basically I changed my LP username ~jaboing to ~jaboing-canonical
<jfunk> then changed it back
<jfunk> I found that I was denied access to wiki.canonical.com pages after I changed it back
<jfunk> and needed losa support to view it again
<jfunk> any ideas about why that would have happened?
<ricardokirkner> not really, sounds like the update may have changed some internal references
<ricardokirkner> and in the end the db might have had two entries for jaboing
<ricardokirkner> but with different ids
<ricardokirkner> so even if the user was displayed as the same it was really a different one
<ricardokirkner> that's one thing I can think of
<ricardokirkner> but I don't yet know as much of the codebase to tell for sure
<ricardokirkner> I think the best we can do is
<ricardokirkner> 1. file a bug for this
<ricardokirkner> 2. have a procedure to fix it if it happens for some user, until we fix it in the code

Its likely because the openid data is stored in a user file, and that
the login name is one of those attributes that needs interaction to
change. Please let us know if you have any further issues.
