Bug Description
Either:
1. The space-shuttle script should be upgraded to generate a self-signed cert, and open port 443; or,
2. The configs should be customized for UEC deploys to direct the API through http.
If route #1 is taken, it should be verified that the API client used for testing doesn't choke on self-signed certs.
