Bug Description

Accidentally created a second account with a second e-mail address.
I decided to remove it, and link the e-mail address, but even after canceling the subscription on that E-mail address, it says it is taken when I try to add it to my original account.

John - I think this is related to how we are currently handling canceled accounts. Can you confirm?

What you are experiencing is with Canonical SSO our openid provider so i am reassigning this bug.

Ubuntu One relies solely on the SSO for email addresses and account information.
We also do not provide a way for you to link two SSO accounts to a single Ubuntu One subscription.

Note also that using Ubuntu One's gnome client with two accounts on the same machine is not supported.

Marking as a duplicate of bug #507214 - it is impossible to remove the emails once they are in SSO.
