Bug Description
looking at SSO database performance graphs (for Production)...
in early July we saw an increase in execution times against our postgres db.
Mean execution time went from ~1.5ms to ~3.5ms (still very fast, but a large percentage increase).
higher latency can also be seen in the 99th percentile time graph.
see attached screenshot of graphs for more context.
possibly related:
there was an OS (lucid to precise) upgrade and Postgres DB upgrade on July 3, which coincides with the performance degradation.
