Multiple apps are failing to start under Unity8 (or Mir demo servers). This includes webbrowser-app and ubuntu-calendar-app. They all report:

However there is actually no problem with the Mir socket at all. Not only do mir-demos still work OK but other clients like 'system-settings' also start just fine. |
