Bug Description

Hello

I have a BQ Aquaris E4.5 and I encountered a trouble this week with my Ubuntu Phone
My phone freezed, the battery was at 5% (it was 30 minutes ago at 40%) and I had to force a reboot
For information : I had a message that filesystem was used at 100%, but I did nothing! I've deleted pictures/videos to free filesystem...

After that freeze, I can't no more open System Settings, it crashes when I try to open it
The first problem at all : I had nothing in Network Indicator in the menu at the top
I fixed that first problem by removing ~/.config/connectivity-service/config.ini.lock file
( see https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1615474/comments/27 )
But even by removing this file, System Settings can't be opened/used...

Thank you in advance for your help!

Could you please tell me how to fix it ?

You can look for a similar lock file for system settings, also try deleting the QML cache.

Hi Pat

Thank you very much : I've not found a lockfile for ubuntu-system-settings, but I've moved - with Terminal - the QML folder from ~/.cache/QML/ to ~/QML/ as you advised me and now it works again !! :-)

Have a nice day!
Thomas
