Bug Description

bq M10 rc-proposed r219

If an app does not set its minimal size, the default size of its window is too small. See the screenshot attached. And guess the opened apps 😉

That looks like a different bug (i.e. the geometries saved for the apps was wrong).

Can you try removing ~/.cache/unity8/windowstatestorage.sqlite and try launching those apps again?

After removing that file and restarting the tablet, I no longer see this problem.

Marking the bug again as "New". Still I get this issue after a while. Can't find a good way to reproduce though.

I was able to reproduce this on a new install on my Nexus 7 (rc-proposed bq en)
Specifically, when opening Ubuntu Silo Installer the first time.
Subsequent opening does not reproduce the issue.
But it could also be that the very first app you open will always have this issue.
However, I cannot confirm yet now.

@Michał, can you please attach your windowstatestorage.sqlite?

@Kugi, it sounds like maybe the app is actually requesting the wrong geometry... Can you please remove the file from comment #2 and see if you can reproduce then?

So last night I wasn't able to reproduce it again but today fresh from a boot, I encountered it again with Ubuntu Silo Installer, WifiTransfer and Talaan. Not sure what's common with them but other core apps doesn't have this problem. The issue persist until you actually resize the app then subsequent opening will have their last window size.

Deleting the said file solved the problem but not until I rebooted.
But it seems to me that the issue comes back eventually. Let's see.
I'll update here when I encounter it again.
