Bug Description

Choose a non maximizable app, for example System Settings. There are two ways to bypass the restriction:

- First way: Press Ctrl + Super + Left/Right/Up
- Second way: Before the app finishes to load, press right mouse click or middle mouse click on the maximize button in the title bar

Shouldn't Unity8 hide the maximize button in the splash screen with non maximizable apps?

nicobel: Indeed yes, Unity8 displays a window before there is actually a client behind it, so we don't know the size limits. That is essentially Unity8 bug 1577641 that needs fixing as well.
