Can you supply further information? What version of Ubuntu is running on what device, and which internet sites are you browsing?

On my tablet, I do not see this effect.

Hi. It is running Frieza. It is the BQ tablet. Aquaris M10. It has the latest update.

When i am browsing.... And have multiple tabs open, then i close one tab (doesn't matter which one ) the browser shuts down completely. Wether it is on desktop or tablet modus. It is kinda annoying... want to throw the tablet through the room sometimes.... When it happens 5 times in an hour.

I'm afraid you will need to provide a detailed way to reproduce. I suspect you need to start with rebooting the tablet, and then listing the websites you browse to.

One possibility is that this is a memory-pressure problem, so the sites you visit may be key to reproduce it.

I see this also on BQ M10 including on OTA-12 current rc-proposed. There is no reliable to way to reproduce that I can find, but if I open multiple tabs and then close 1 of them there is a chance that it closes the whole browser. I don't think the browser is crashing, because I don't see crash reports listed that correspond.

This is also mentioned in #1595348

I have had to unbox my BQM10 tablet (OTA12) again, as my iPad has failed. I (can) only use it for web browsing, and the almost continuous crashing of the browser is very irritating.

I can induce it by closing the last tab 3 times out of 5, and by closing the 2nd of 3 almost every time.
