On first boot it was disabled. I noticed cellular was set to 2G only, set it to 2/3G and the data toggle became enabled and stayed enabled even if I switched back to 2G only.

This is too confusing, and its related to not being able to define the default data sim automatically

With single sim systems this certainly shouldn't be necessary

Right after update from OTA-11 to OTA-12 cellular data switch is disabled in the system settings.

In the OTA-12 there is quick access to the cellular data switch in the indicators (#1373463), but also is disabled.

Doesn't help:
- reboot;
- on/off flight mode;
- switch 2G/3G/4G;
- operator search.

Device: Meizu MX4
- just one SIM slot

current build number: 14
device name: arale

version version: 14

version tag: OTA-12
version device: 20160526-af18709

Is there workaround to enable cellular data switch?

It may be disabled because it's crashing and hence not successfully enabled. Check bug 1607079 to see if that fix helps you. This might be a duplicate of bug 1607079.

Same here, also Meizu MX4 right after OTA-12 update and first reboot Cellular data and Data Roaming toggleswitches disabled, disconnecting from WiFi shows a empty wifi indicator.

OK, I'm going to assume this is getting fixed with the fix for bug 1607079, until proven otherwise.

Sorry Daniel but I can switch the flight mode off and on as many times as I want without having access to the cellular data switch.

Moreover I insist on the fact the cellular data are active whereas the switch shows it is off so I don't think it is because the cellular data function is crashed.

I am informed the fix for lp:1607079 should address this

Is the fix to reboot a few times or to switch the flight mode on and off? Sorry Pat but none of them works in my case.

@alain do you have the very latest proposed update installed? if so perhaps not fixed
