Bug Description

There is a web site I visit a lot. Today I have found that pages I have habitually used do not
Produce an OSK for text entry unless I kill and restart the browser.. The circumstances are not the same as bug #1582060 because no new tabs are involved.

Reloading the page via the address bar does not do it.. You have to kill & restart the browser.

Two example pages:
http://www.geograph.org.uk/discuss/index.php?&action=vthread&forum=6&topic=17652&page=-1#2
http://www.geograph.org.uk/editimage.php?id=5007116

There have been other similar incidents in the past, but today it is happening a lot.. Other web sites have been involved, and the Geograph site has not changed.

Ok, got my Ipad back.
Going to pack the M10 away.. It's been interesting, but not much fun.. Like the phone it is just not finished, and not reliable enough to use

@Bob: I understand that some of the issues you encountered are deterring for daily use of the M10, and I’m sorry that this means we won’t be getting more bug reports from you, they were really useful.

I can’t seem to reproduce this particular issue on the latest rc-proposed, so if you can’t provide more input there is unfortunately not much that can be done to investigate it.

Changed in webbrowser-app (Ubuntu):
status: Confirmed → Incomplete
