Bug Description
Is it technically possible to switch off one of the SIM cards?
Motivation
----------
I have a bq Aquaris E5 Ubuntu Edition, and I have 2 SIM cards in the phone, permanently. The SIM cards are from 2 different countries, so very rarely (almost never) I use them both at the same time.
When I go from one country to the other (e.g. when I go in holidays) I deactivate mobile data traffic, default for phone calls, default for SMS for the then "foreign" SIM card and activate all those features for the then "domestic" SIM card.
User Story
----------
As a phone user of a dual-SIM card phone
I want to switch off one of the SIM cards manually
So that my phone stops searching for its home network (and can thus save energy).
Details
-------
- This feature could be implemented in the "System Settings" > "Mobile Networks" screen at "Connection Types:"
- Currently the 2 options "2G only (save energy)" and "2G/3G (faster)" are available here, and another option "Off" could be added.
