Bug Description

Product: bq Aquaris E4.5 & E5
FW version: OTA-9.1

STEPS TO REPRO:
Two customers from BQ community reports a bad behaviour when device it's in roaming:

case1: he says he wasn't able to get signal in France. SIM card appeared as "Not registered", nor voice or data services. Once he was back in Spain, the connectivity came back.

case2: he went to Androrra, and the same as case 1. He said his wife had a krillin on Android and it worked son is not HW.

Both customers have the same mobile provider and they checked with the provider that roaming was enabled.

Actual Result:
Cannot get mobile signal when roaming
Expected Result:
Device should get roaming when is out of spain

Could it not be a setting in the sim card. My network provider needs sim toolkit for me to be able to use data and call abroad like case 1. I have opened a bug almost about the lack of sim toolkit on ut

It is difficult to say what might be happening here. If somebody is able to reproduce, syslog would be useful. Doing

/system/bin/logcat -b radio > radio.txt

letting it be for a couple of minutes and attaching radio.txt will help too.

Hi @alfonso,

I guess with this "/system/bin/logcat -b radio > radio.txt" you start to collect logs. How to pull them out?:

$adb logcat -v time -b radio > radio.txt ?

You should do instead:

adb shell /system/bin/logcat -v threadtime -b radio > radio.txt

as a direct "adb logcat" does not worj in UT.
