Landscape image flickering in portrait mode

Bug Description

Test case.
- Open camera app.
- Switch to landscape orientation.
- Record a short video (e.g. ~10 seconds).
- Switch to portrait orientation.
- Go to Video scope.
- Tap on the video.
- Tap on the play button (must open in media player).
- Let the video play until the end.
- Tap on the center of the screen to hide and show the bottom controls.

Expected result.
- Displayed video image keeps static.

Actual result.
- Video image flickers a lot. See attached video (although flickring is stronger by eye).

This doesn't happen while playing the video.

Thanks for your report. I cannot reproduce the same behaviour on krillin rc-proposed 204. Although, the video plays correctly but when it stops and I tap on the screen it rotates upside down (only the video, not the mediaplayer).

Then when I try this test again, mediaplayer crashes.

I still can reproduce the problem. Follow these steps:

Test case.
- Open camera app.
- Switch to landscape orientation.
- Record a short video (e.g. ~10 seconds).
- Switch to portrait orientation.
- Record another short video (e.g. ~10 seconds).
- Go to Video scope.
- Tap on the landscape video.
- Tap on the play button (must open in media player).
- Switch to the Video scope.
- Tap on the portrait video.
- Let the video play until the end.
- Tap on the center of the screen to hide and show the bottom controls.
