During call, unable to wake phone and hang up

This might be a duplicate, I think I've seen discussion of this on the mailing list...

I just made a short phone call. I got a message saying the callee was busy so I wanted to hang up. But when I took the phone away from my face there was just the indicator strip at the top and the rest was blank. Swiping from any edge did nothing. After perhaps 30 seconds the phone woke up again and I was able to hang up normally.

I've attached the syslog. The phone is on OTA-8 and all apps are updated apart from uTorch and Document Viewer.

This is quite likely a duplicate of Bug #1493574 that I just noticed. That bug suggests attaching powerd logs but this just happened, Dec 7th, and I don't seem to have any relevant powerd logs:

To answer the other questions there, this is an MX4 so there's only one SIM card, and this might be the only time it's happened (I don't often make voice calls on this phone).

I happens on my phone (bq Aquaris E5) every single time I make or receive a phone call. Though actually, the screen is completely black, no indicators, no nothing. I can wake the screen up for a fraction of a second by pressing the lock key on the right upper side of the phone.

I don't think this is a duplicate of #1493574. In this bug the screen is on but the UI is frozen, and the phone resumes operation after 30 seconds.
