this was a fresh flash of the image, i opened a bunch of apps, took a picture with camera app, dimissed the "photo roll" tutorial page, took another photo, brought some other app forward so camera app was not focused. Phone got hot, so i ran top and noticed camera never reduced. Opening spread and quiting app was the only way to get stop camera-app hogging cpu. I only got this the first time through, i could not reproduce.
Also I noticed the camera app was not "black" in the spread but showed a last image (tbh, unsure if it was on photoroll...but i thot i went back to viewfinder mode)
I also notice, from playing around that camera cpu is ~50% just on photoroll...not doing anything, just let the phone idle on photoviewer and the cpu use remains pretty high (user could easily drain their battery) |
