Bug Description

BQ Aquaris 4.5 Ubuntu Edition has a blue/red LED on the front just below the speaker. Whenever you receive an email, text
message or so it starts flashing blue in 1 or 2 seconds intervals just to notify that you should check your phone.

I have discovered that regardless of how much battery I have (had 88% yesterday evening) this flashing LED kills the battery.
I've received an email around midnight and in the morning 7AM the phone was dead with battery 0%.
If there are no messages and the LED doesn't start phone battery holds few days with WiFi/GPS services on.
It has improved after last Ubuntu upgrade.

Thanks for the report and glad it has improved overall. I doubt the led itself was actually the cause of the battery drain. (mine was flashing all last night with almost no battery used.
Please check for any recent crash files. Which app are you using for email and was it in the foreground?
