"Out of memory" when saving to disk

I'm trying to save some 50 books comprising about 1.6 GB to disk. The export on Win 7 partially fails with this error:

According to the task manager, after the export, some 1.6GB of a total of 8GB physical RAM are still free.

Fixed in branch lp:calibre. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
