Device appears as a USB mass storage device. Has an SD card slot.
Can create arbitrary directories, ebooks can go anywhere.

Both are formated as Fat16 without partitioning.

According to that debug output, your device is being recognized as the Libre
Air, with which it shares USB ids. calibre can have only one driver per set of
USB ids.
