Bug Description

I would like to be able to expand the reader portion (the portion that contains the actual ebook text) to fill the entire screen. This is because when I read at night with the lights out, having the border (containing the top and bottom banners and the left panel that contains the toolbar controls) visible overpowers the text display. It's like trying to read while someone shines a light in your eyes. Or to put it another way, I would like to be able to hide the top and bottom banners as well as the toolbar icons on the left side of the screen.

The graphics toolkit calibre uses (Qt) has no support for auto-hideable
toolbars which is what is needed for this functionality. That means I would
have to implement them from scratch, which makes this way too much work. But if
it is important to you, patches are most welcome.

Thinking about it, I guess this does not really need autohide. Making the
toolbars visible via right click should work as well. Will be in next release.
