Shift click after sort by a different collumn

When handling large amounts of books by author, series or for some other reason, I will choose to edit them by bulk. When I do this i will either section out the chosen books by categories or by clicking the first then shift+click the last and as is common with GUIs this will select all the books in between as well.
The bug however, is when you click the first book, then resort the library using a column. For now when you shift+click, the list goes from the location of your previous selection (not the current position of your selected book) to your secondarily clicked book.

Note that if multiple books were selected before the sort, then the behavior of shift-click after the sort will not necessarily be obvious.
