Bug Description

I would like to be able to add files to the exclusion list for the automatic adding of books function.

Calibre is now used to manage files that are not just ebooks, such as audio books, pictures, knitting patterns, embroidery patterns, recipes, etc. to name a few that I have found searching the forums. It just proves that Calibre is wonderful program that allows for the easy management of data that a multitude of users are now using it for, including me.

Currently, if you use the automatic adding tab, files that are placed in the designated folder are automatically added to the Calibre DB. All file types are added if the check box for "Automatically add files of all types (not just e-books)" is checked.
Occasionally files that I do not ever want to be added to the database are placed in the folder accidentally.

I would like the ability to add to the "Ignore files with the following extensions when automatically adding" list so that file types I do not want added to the database are not added when the automatic folder is triggered.

The "Control which files are added during bulk imports: Rules to filter added files" is a separate list which applies only to the bulk import of files, and not the automatic adding of files, especially since the two lists are separate. It's great that the two lists are separate, but at this time, you can only modify the bulk import list thru the rules generator, and not the automatic adding list.

Thanks for the great software.

I tried using this feature and while it adds the extension, in my case 'mbp', it does not activate the "Apply" button. It can't save.
