Bug Description
Steps to Reproduce:
Open an ebook in calibre.
Select a portion of text within a chapter.
Click on the "Read Aloud" button or press the "T" key.
Observe that the book jumps to the beginning of the next chapter instead of reading the selected text.
Expected Behavior: The selected text should be read aloud when the "Read Aloud" button is clicked or the "T" key is pressed.

Impact: This bug hinders the usability of the text-to-speech feature, particularly for users who rely on it to read specific sections of text.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
