Bug Description

1. Open the attached file, "book.fb2", in the viewer.
2. Press Esc and click on "Preferences" > "Headers and footers"; set "Footer" > "Left" to "Current section", click on "OK" and press Esc.
3. Scroll down to about the middle of the book.

Notice that the Progress value at the bottom-right is truncated to "5…". That's not very useful, perhaps the value should not be truncated even if there's little space.

Calibre version: 7.5.1,
OS: Windows 10 Home.

I've noticed that other short values like "Clock", "Time to read book" and "Position in book" are also truncated if there's little space. Does the fix affect them too?

clock yes, others no. If you want to ensure things remain visible best
not to put very long items with them in that row. There is a limit to
how much can be accomodated.
