Bug Description

I have neglected to report this earlier, as to me it's been a glaring bug. But it seems to be unreported from what I can tell, so maybe my case is unique?

Since version 7.0 and each version onward through the latest (7.8), Calibre's UI behaves VERY strange under a specific circumstance.

With Calibre's Sharing/Server option set to automatically start with Windows, running on Windows Server 2019, when you Maximize the Calibre Window and then close it; when you disconnect the Remote Desktop session (with the Maximized Calibre window closed), and Remote Desktop back (no user session log off) into the machine running Calibre, the Window will be in focus, maximized with the correct title bar, but the entire UI will be a blank white screen. Clicking the Calibre tray icon will resolve this. This does not happen if you close the window with it not maximized. It happens repeatedly and consistently. This did not occur at all prior to 7.0.

I have 2x near identical separate instances of Calibre experiencing the exact same symptoms.

Calibre Version: 7.0 to 7.8+
OS Version: Windows Server 2019

This is a bug in Qt the graphics toolkit calibre uses. It will hopefully
be fixed there someday, until then you just have to work around it,
which can be done by either disabling the system tray icon and
minimizing instead of closing the window or actually clicking the system
tray icon when you reconnect to restore the window.
