Bug Description
I recently upgraded from 6.29.0 to 7.1.0. Now, in the editor when attempting to run "check book" the editor crashes, but Calibre itself does not crash.
I have rebooted but the problem remains.
O/S version: Windows 10 Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.3693)

I downloaded Calibre Portable version 6,29 and was able to edit the same book and "check book" runs without crashing.
