Bug Description
Currently Esc closes the footnote window, but only because it's bound to open the Controls.
Perhaps pressing Esc should close the footnote window regardless.
Calibre version: 6.29,
OS: Windows 10 Home.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
