Bug Description
Ebook-edit crashes with SIGSEGV reproducibly in a very specific situation.
How to reproduce:
- ebook-edit test-crash.epub
- Position cursor after </a>-tag
- Enter trigger text for snippet (used spnipet e.g.: cc → ' class="$1"').
- Press Ctrl-J
I have the test file attached.
I could also send a core dump.
System is Ubuntu 22.04.
Calibre 6.18.
BTW, a feature allowing to save automatcally a working copy of an edited file every x minutes would be helpful.

Does not crash for me with those steps though I use the builtin <c
snippet not cc which I assume is a custom snippet you created.
