Bug Description
I would like to request the ability to resize the rows in both the Manage Authors screen and the Category Editor.
I would also like to request the addition of alternating row colouring in the Manage Authors screen. It already exists in the Category Editor.

@Kovid: are you OK with changing Manage Authors to use alternate row colors unconditionally, or would you rather a tweak to avoid complaints about "changing behavior"?
