Large, non-ignored files prevent "automatic adding" of books

Bug Description

In Calibre v6.14.1 (but also slighlty earlier), I observed that adding books was not possible automatically, when _large_ files were present in the specified folder.

Example: /Users/…me…/Downloads got filled up with several macOS installers (*.app files, dozens of GB).

No ebook file from that folder was added until I moved those installers away.

Yes, I've had the autoadd folder stall when there's big files in there. Would not suggest using the Downloads folder for this reason - set to a subfolder and move the files you want in there.

A couple of things:
1. The Job Spy plugin has an option buried in its menus to "Tickle the Auto-Adder." This sometimes helps.

2. Input plugins occasionally interfere. Right-click preferences button and restart with plugins ignored to see if this is the case. Note that this will turn off things like DeDRM (which runs on import).

3. Even then, large files you may just need to add manually.

This will likely be a limitation of Qt's file watching API, so nothing I
can do to fix it. To confirm, run calibre in debug mode (by right
clicking the preferences button), and post the debug log after automatic
adding fails.
