Bug Description

I noticed a change in the behaviour of the web view of calibre regarding bookmarks. Tested on 6.10 and 6.12.
Browsers: Arc (chrome based), Safari on iPad

I bookmark a page or highlight-text-to-bookmark on the web view. (Sync/user is enabled and it worked before).
For some time I see the bookmark in the bookmark view. I reload the web view and now I don't have any bookmarks. Sync doesn't help.
On the PC in the ebook viewer I still see all the bookmarks.

I also tried two browser at the same time. Browser A (Mac) bookmark something, sync on Browser B (iPad). I see the bookmark von Browser B. I bookmark (by highlight) on Browser B. Sync on Browser A. I don't see the new bookmark.
I reload the Browser A and "loose" all my bookmarks.
Still, everything is correct on the ebook viewer.

This is something apple broke in safari, you should report it to them.
It is not replicable in chrome or firefox (and on ipad all browsers are
actually safari thanks to apple, no matter what their "skin" might be).

You can work around it by simply quitting and restarting safari, the
bookmarks will then show up. It's only on reload in safari that they get
lost. So avoid doing reloads or if you must then quit and restart.
