Calibre 6.7.1*
Currently, in the book details window, the cover can be scaled up and down (or hidden entirely) by pulling the splitter to the left and right.
There isn't a splitter in the book details pane, though, in either wide or narrow view. Sometimes it'd be useful.

Currently, in the book details window, the cover can be scaled up and down (or hidden entirely) by pulling the splitter to the left and right.
There isn't a splitter in the book details pane, though, in either wide or narrow view, just one between the pane and the book list. Sometimes it'd be useful (e.g. hiding covers when in grid-view anyways).
