Calibre 6.2.1, Windows 10
Calibre fails to create a cover image from the cover of a PDF file.
On adding the PDF to the library, cover image is empty.
Generating the cover image from the first pages of the PDF also yields an empty page browser.
When converting the PDF cover to an image (I tried JPG and PNG) in an external program, Calibre complains of an invalid file when trying to set one of these as the cover image.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
