[Content Server] Note window pops up but text still selectable underneath

For the book I'm reading now, on Android, I have to take notes. The note window pops up alright, and I can type in. But sometimes the move of the finger can still select the texts underneath, and messing up the selected area at the beginning.

I'm not sure if this is new for 6.2.1 or not.

I cannot reproduce this on my Android device in Chrome. Tapping outside
the notes area causes the notes window to close, that is by design. Are
you seeing something else?

Let me clarify it.

1) Hightlight the text and tap the highlight button

2) Take notes, type something... maybe something long. (and don't close the box)

3) Then try edit the notes. If you long-touch a word or double tap or move your finger around while doing it, it will cause the highlighted area (in step 1) to change, normally resulting in a much bigger area.

Ah, you mean while trying to interact with the text in the notes box.

I can reproduce for long tap but not any other touch interactions.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
