failed to convert fb2

Bug Description

calibre 6.1, macos 12.5, m1 pro

Got failures on attempt to convert fb2 to epub or mobi (have not tried other formats). The process stops with

Parsing XML...
Converting XML to HTML...

there is no actual failure in that log. If the conversion worker crashed
post the macOS crash log for it. Otherwise let the conversion keep
running.

actually lack of failures is a part of the problem. For me the result looks the following way (see the attachment).

I've tried to capture more logs by running calibre from terminal with -v flag. Looks like nothing new there.

That can only happen if the worker process is crashing, in which case you should be able to get a crash report from macOS and attach it here. Or attach one of your FB2 files and I will try to replicate.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
