Dark Mode always on when using System Default User Interface

Bug Description

As of 6.0, and unchanged in 6.1, when I use the System Default user interface, the Color Palette stays dark no matter if I select 'System Default', 'Light', or 'Dark'.

I have changed from mode to mode, changed back, and restarted Calibre after every change. I am only able to view in light mode when using the 'calibre style' user interface option.

Calibre Version 6.1, Windows 64 Bit, on Windows 10 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1826)

yes system theme follows system colors. This is by design. if you want
to control the colors from calibre, use the calibre theme.

Ok, that makes sense. Why have the color pallete dropdown enabled when that's selected then? It's been functioning like that a long time. If that's the intended use, disabling the color palette option would seem reasonable.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
