Bug Description

The Content Server Viewer is great, and I use it as the main reader. However it lacks the ability to export user's settings (font size, margins, headers and footers, selection behavior, and especially the Styles).

I would like to request for this feature, so that it is possible to start the content server viewer quickly when start reading on a new device or the device is reset (especially for eink devices, where typing the css codes in the Styles is a nightmare).

Hi! I came here to offer a different think, maybe complementary to import/export, to allow store the settings in the user is logged in when open the content server.
Maybe to have the chance to sync the settings or store it in the user could have even better (and maybe simpler) than the import export. This allow to configure the reader settings from the calibre side, when you create the user you can directly set the reader UI there

I'm not sure how that may help when a user uses multiple devices to read and sync. Of course, if the server can remember the settings per device (device id), that would be great, but I fear that door would open to more stuffs, including device management.

As a permanent user of Calibre Web Viewer, I love to see it evolve, especially into a true offline reader.

Or maybe you can store in the user the configurations and keep it accessible from anywhere you log in

Thank you for the new release, which is great - one of the features I most wanted.

I have created a number of profiles for tablets, phones, eink devices.

The profiles can be overwritten, but deletion fails
Failed to load profiles
Could not open <book title>. Could not load profiles: with error: Failed to communicate with "/reader-profiles/save", with status: [400 (error)] Bad Request

Invalid query: profile must be a dict
Go back to:
I am now running the latest Calibre beta and I confirm that the profile deletion is now working.

Nevertheless, I would like to report that the "number of pages per screen" (under Page Layout) is not set when a profile is restored. In fact, I set the "2" for Landscape, save the profile. But when this profile is applied (when switching profile, or set in a new device), it is always "0".

I haven't seen any other hiccup regarding this feature.

Thank you for your time.
