Bug Description
When you convert a CBZ or CBR file that contains 8-bit JPEGs (black and white files), the PDF result is incorrect. It seems to be a problem with the metadata when embedding the JPEG, because after extracting the file from the PDF you get back the untouched 8-bit file. On the other hand: it must be possible to embed 8-bit files in PDF without converting them to 24-bit first, because I have already seen such files.
