Bug Description
Calibre 5.16
When using autocomplete, the elide is usually at the end. However, this makes it difficult to differentiate between various hierarchical tags. An option to ellide at the beginning or in the middle would be helpful.
If made into a tweak, it could probably go into the same place as completion_mode.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every alternate Friday.
